In line with the celebration of 27th "ROAD SAFETY WEEK", Red Cross Society, R.T.O & Traffic - Bhavnagar Branch as well as Bhavnagar MotarSangh together organized a huge rally on 16th January 2016 from Shantilal Shah High School (Haluriya Chowk). This rally had included members of the Traffic police, NCC and other elite institutions. Along with the rally, a blood donation camp and eye check-up camp has been arranged at the Bhavnagar MotarSangh petrol pump, situated opposite to the collector's office. The blood donors has been facilitated with a coupon through which they can have 1 litre free of petrol for contributing towards the society.
The 69th Independence Day was celebrated by the members of Bhavnagar MotarSangh in an extremely unique manner. Dignitaries of the city like Shri Manibhai Gandhi, Shri Kishorbhai Bhatt, Shri Bharatbhai Monpara, etc had expressed their feelings towards the nation and its development. Also, Dr.Niranjanbhai Acharya recited a self composed song that was dedicated to the greatness of the country.
Bhavnagar Motarsangh has always stood up on the objective of contributing to the society in one way or the other. An initiative on “Vyasan Mukti” was organized for the executive committee members, staff as well as the well wishers of the association. In the beginning, Ms. Rachnaben Trivedi had commenced the program through reciting a prayer and Mr. Bharatbhai Trivedi, President of Bhavnagar MotarSangh welcomed the guests with his few valuable words.
Mr. Kedarbhai Dave, who is associated with the Swaminarayan Sampraday since more than 7 years in their works on “Vyasan Mukti” and nurturing values, had managed the program. A very learned saint of the Swaminarayan Sampraday made an appeal for Vyasan Mukti and how one can contribute through that to the society through the same. The Mahila Mandal of Bhavnagar MotarSangh was also present at the function.
On this occasion, an innovative proposal was put forward by Mrs. Maurvi Oza Chaturvedi for providing a platform of their interests, to the children and helping them in their growth. Also, Mr. Nihar Chaturvedi explained how technology has made the work in the transport industry easier. Vote of thanks was done by Mrs. Reenaben Patel.

A camp was organized in the Shishuvihar sanstha on the occasion of Consumer Protection Day under which they informed people about the benefits of consuming unadulterated food and explained how one can recognize the quality of food that they consume. Dr. Bhartiben Shiyal, Member of Parliament, along with other dignitaries of the city had contributed in the function through their presence, commenced the program through enlightening the lamps and shared a few words with the audience on the topics mentioned above. The program initiated after Shivaliben recited prayers.
Dr. Bhartiben Shiyal, Member of Parliament, shared that the protection of consumers in every field is extremely important, along with awareness in the public and education that form a huge impact on welfare of the society. She appreciated the initiative and also had shown her interest in organizing more of such events.
Smt. Jalpaben Bhayani, Food inspector, made a presentation on the authenticity of unadulterated food and its benefits. Also, Shri D. R. Patel (District supply officer), Shri Nanakbhai Bhatt (Secretary, Shishuvihar), Shri Kedarbhai Dave, Shri Yogeshbhai Joshi etc also shared their valuable thoughts on the subject. The program was organized by joint contribution of Shishuvihar Sanstha and Bhavnagar MotarSangh. The event was anchored by Suchitaben Kapoor and Vote of Thanks was given by Shri Rathorebhai.
